Open Door Community Outreach Center Completes Toilet Facility Project in Kwakwaduam

Open Door Community Outreach Center is pleased to announce the successful completion of a toilet facility project in Kwakwaduam, a rural community in the Eastern Region of Ghana. This initiative forms part of our continued commitment to improving living conditions and promoting healthier communities through sustainable development projects.

Addressing a Critical Community Need

Access to proper sanitation remains a significant challenge in many rural communities across Ghana. In Kwakwaduam, the lack of adequate toilet facilities posed serious health and environmental concerns, contributing to poor hygiene practices and increasing the risk of sanitation-related diseases.

Recognizing this urgent need, Open Door Community Outreach Center initiated the construction of a modern toilet facility to provide residents with safe, hygienic, and accessible sanitation services.

Project Completion and Community Impact

The toilet facility has now been successfully completed and officially handed over to the Kwakwaduam community for public use.

This project is expected to make a meaningful impact by:

  • Improving sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Reducing open defecation within the community
  • Preventing the spread of sanitation-related illnesses
  • Promoting dignity, safety, and healthier living conditions for residents

By providing this essential facility, we are helping create a cleaner and healthier environment for families, children, and future generations.
